Job Description
- Role Overview:
As a Sales Manager at KARL STORZ, your mission is to manage sales in the assigned territory to achieve defined sales and market share targets. This involves promoting and selling KARL STORZ products to clinicians & surgeons across the healthcare value chain and maintaining strong relationships with customers and other internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve Sales Figures in the Assigned Territory month on month.
- Achieve focus product targets - both quantity and value - month on month.
- Ensure coverage of all accounts based on customer segmentation within territory through grassroots sales techniques.
- Close sales/leads by explaining surgical techniques and the benefits of the product range.
- Maintain and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in coordination with the marketing team.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate on price, delivery, and specifications.
- Maintain and expand existing business while developing new opportunities.
- Handle customer issues through cross-functional coordination.
- Participate in various congresses, seminars, workshops, and follow-up on leads.
- Support in tender management.
- Ensure Accounts Receivable as per company policies.
- Develop sound product knowledge and continuously update it.
- Track market-share and competition activities in the assigned territory.
- Branding of KARL STORZ products among target customers.
- Adhere to KARL STORZ's code of conduct and policies in an ethical manner.
Qualification Required:
- Any Graduate, preferably with a science background (B.Sc., B Pharma, Biotech, Life Sciences, Bio-Med Engineers, etc.)

Work Experience:
- 5-6 years of experience in sales. Prior experience in medical device companies is preferred.
- Experience in channel management and distribution will be an added advantage.
Other Requirements:
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Strong customer orientation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to deal with and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel extensively in the defined area/territory.
