About the Role
A leading engineering organization is looking to hire a Senior Recruitment Specialist (Individual Contributor) to own end-to-end talent acquisition for a critical engineering division.
This is a front-end, business-facing role with direct interaction with senior leadership. The position requires strong expertise in leadership hiring, advanced sourcing (LinkedIn-first), compensation fitments, and stakeholder management, along with a data-driven approach to hiring outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for hiring for the Rolling Stock Engineering Division (Hyderabad-led).
- Drive leadership and senior-level hiring across engineering and corporate roles.
- Partner closely with business leaders to understand workforce plans, skill gaps, and hiring priorities.
- Advise stakeholders on salary benchmarking, offer structuring, and closure strategy.
- Own the complete recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding coordination.
- Execute proactive sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter, social media platforms, referrals, and targeted market mapping.
- Build and maintain leadership and critical-skill talent pipelines.
- Drive diversity hiring initiatives and ensure inclusive hiring practices.
- Track and report diversity metrics (pipeline mix, interview ratios, conversions).
- Analyze hiring trends and implement corrective actions to improve hiring effectiveness.
- Ensure a high-quality, feedback-driven candidate experience.
- Support employer branding initiatives and participate in hiring events/webinars.

Candidate Profile
- 12 to 15 years of experience in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment, preferably within engineering, industrial, rolling stock, or engineering services environments.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership hiring and senior stakeholder management.
- Strong hands-on expertise in LinkedIn sourcing, social hiring, and passive talent engagement.
- Sound understanding of compensation structures, offer fitments, and negotiation.
- Ability to operate independently as a senior Individual Contributor.
- Strong communication, influencing, and analytical skills.
Education
- Bachelors degree (Engineering / HR or related discipline).
- MBA / PGDM in HR preferred.
