About The Role
Platform Science is looking for a Associate Technical Support Representative to join our team in Chennai. In this hybrid position, you will be responsible for assisting and educating our customers using a variety of modes including phone, web, and chat. Customer inquiries cover software, hardware, account management, installation, and best practices relating to our product and industry. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals seeking career advancement within a strong, performance-driven culture. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work arrangement.
The place of work is located onsite at our Chennai, India office, requiring a stable, suitable home internet connection when working remotely.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality technical support and education to customers using phone, web, and chat channels.
- Address customer inquiries related to software, hardware, account management, installation, and industry best practices.
- Utilize strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills to resolve issues promptly in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a high degree of organization and focus on detail to manage fluctuating work volumes and achieve success.
- Adhere to assigned shift hours and contribute to achieving team performance metrics.
Required experience
- 1-2 years experience in a technical support environment or other customer-facing technology fields.
- Demonstrated high-quality written and verbal business communication abilities.
- Demonstrated proficiency with business software (e.g., MS Office, Salesforce CRM, eMail).
- Demonstrated customer focus, troubleshooting abilities, and creative problem solving.
- Ability to work assigned shift hours.

- Experience in a contact center or production environment (e.g., schedule, process, and metrics driven).
- Experience working with Mobile Communications.
- Experience working with Transportation or Logistics industries.

- Passion and willingness to learn new technologies.
