Job Description
- You are looking for a skilled Development Manager who has extensive experience in microservices architecture to lead an efficient engineering team. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable, distributed systems while promoting agile methodologies and technical excellence.
Your duties will include guiding and supporting a team of developers focusing on microservices-based applications. Collaboration with product managers, architects, and DevOps to establish service boundaries and APIs is crucial. Emphasizing agile development practices such as sprint planning, code reviews, and CI/CD will be part of your routine. You will be tasked with guaranteeing high code quality and system performance through rigorous testing, monitoring, and optimization. Furthermore, your role will involve breaking down monolithic applications into microservices using industry best practices and endorsing a culture of innovation, continuous enhancement, and technical responsibility.
To excel in this position, you should possess at least 8 years of software development experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity. Your expertise should extend to microservices architecture and cloud-native development, with proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, service mesh, and API gateways is essential. A solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and monitoring tools is also required. Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and distributed databases is advantageous. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are key assets for this role.

This opportunity is for a fixed-term contract position on a full-time basis exclusively with ReBIT for an initial period of five years, subject to extension by mutual agreement.,
