Main responsibilities



  • Provide expertise in Dynamics AX Finance functions.

  • Provide in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics AX application and evaluates the customer’s business processes against the standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality.

  • Be responsible for documenting the business requirements which express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected.

  • Perform fit-gap analysis and design and configure data migration strategies

  • Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure a comprehensive set of requirements that are aligned to business objectives and gain full understanding of current and future state business processes.

  • Collaborate, manage, and lead meetings with technical consultants and client/end-users.

  • Support the Microsoft Dynamics AX application to achieve the customer’s business requirements. Facilitate the customer’s decision-making process and develops the functional design document that will drive the development process (if modifications/customizations are required, either to processes or to the Microsoft Dynamics application).

  • Be responsible for conducting user acceptance testing and train customer resources to successfully use and maintain the Microsoft Dynamics AX application.

  • Provide production support, as required.


Skills and experience


Required:



  • 5+ years of experience as a subject matter expert in Microsoft Dynamics AX.

  • Experience in developing functional specifications for Dynamics AX enhancements and integrations

  • Experience with setup, configuration, implementation, integration and testing of AX solutions using best practices implementation methodology and/or Microsoft Sure Step methodology

  • Extensive experience in Core Financial Modules like AP, AR, GL, FA, and Projects

  • Experience in design and creating test scenarios, functional test cases and User acceptance testing

  • Use of Azure DevOps and other test management tools for all aspects from requirements to UAT.


Desired:



  • Graduate/post graduate degree in finance or related areas (B.Com, MBA) or degree/diploma (B.E/B.Tech, BCA) in engineering.

  • Candidates with Microsoft certifications are preferred and will have an advantage over the others.

  • Excellent business communication skills with effective presentation and demonstration skills.

  • Ability to guide junior team members and co-ordinate with them to deliver above and beyond commitments.

  • Should have a strong learning orientation with regards to new technologies and implementing them.

  • Should be a self-starter and initiative taker.

  • Should possess strong analytical skills and be detail oriented.

Country and/or overseas travel might be required as per business requirements
