Role Overview:
As a Controller (F&B), you will serve as the financial guardian of our culinary operations, ensuring rigorous oversight of food and beverage costs, inventory integrity, and revenue assurance. You will work closely with executive chefs, procurement teams, and regional operations heads to bridge the gap between operational efficiency and financial performance. By implementing robust internal controls and providing actionable insights into margin analysis, you will directly influence the profitability of our F&B units and drive sustainable growth across our portfolio. This role is pivotal in maintaining the fiscal health of our high-volume operations while upholding the highest standards of financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end food and beverage cost control processes to minimize wastage and optimize profit margins across all outlets.
- Analyze daily and monthly F&B reports to identify cost trends, providing strategic recommendations to management for menu engineering and pricing adjustments.
- Manage the procurement and vendor payment cycle to ensure competitive pricing and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for cash handling, stock management, and procurement to maintain strict financial discipline.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare accurate F&B budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.

- Demonstrate deep expertise in F&B cost accounting, inventory management systems, and financial modeling within the hospitality or retail sector.
- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear, actionable business strategies for non-financial stakeholders.
- Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships and influence operational teams toward cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain a high degree of professional integrity and attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site operational environment.
- Hold a professional qualification such as CA, ICWA, or an MBA in Finance from a reputed institute, complemented by 8 - 15 years of progressive experience in financial control roles.
- Show a proven ability to adapt to evolving business needs and lead process improvements in a dynamic, high-growth organization.
