Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and visionary Corporate Business Development Director & India Ecosystem Lead to drive both global strategic partnerships and deeply localized integrations in the Indian market. In this role, you will spearhead collaborations with global technology giants (e.g., Google, Meta, Amazon) landing in India, and top Indian AI/Deepteck companies, Apps, content platforms, and social media services, embedding their solutions into Transsion devices to forge a next-generation smart ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Business Development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with company goals, covering AI, mobile ecosystems, and emerging technologies
- Identify, negotiate, and manage high-impact alliances with global tech leaders (e.g., Google, Meta, Amazon, Snap, Netflix) and leading Indian platforms (e.g., Sarvam, JioStar, Paytm, PhoePe, etc)
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships to ensure ongoing value creation and engagement
Merge & Acqusition Development
- Lead end-to-end M&A processes: target identification, financial and commercial due diligence, deal structuring, and integration planning
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (investment, legal, finance, product, tech) to execute transactions and drive post-merger synergies
India AI Ecosystem
- Evaluate and onboard top Indian AI utilities, content apps, and regional services; design integration points (pre-installs, system entry, SDK integrations) to optimize user engagement
- Monitor key performance indicators (user engagement, retention, monetization) and iterate partnership models for continuous improvement
- Stay abreast of Indias digital trends (AIGC, hyperlocal services) and recommend ecosystem upgrades to maintain competitive edge
Qualifications
- Experience: 5-8 years in corporate-level strategic partnerships, business development, and M&A within the tech or mobile sectors; 24 years specifically in the Indian mobile/app ecosystem
- Network: Established relationships across worlds top tech hubs and Indias leading digital platforms; proven track record with OEMs, ad tech, or content providers
- Skills:
- Strategic vision with hands-on execution mindset; strong financial modeling, contract negotiation, and analytical capabilities
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Hindi preferred; exceptional cross-cultural communication skills
- Comfortable in fast-paced, matrixed organizations; adept at driving 0?1 growth initiatives
