Job Description

As a Lead Tester at Wattmonk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our tech-based solutions for solar companies. With 5-10 years of experience in manual testing, you will be responsible for various testing activities including Functional, Regression, System, Integration, and UAT testing. Your expertise in Automation Testing will be essential in enhancing our testing processes.

Your proficiency in testing web and mobile-based applications will be key in maintaining the high standards of quality that Wattmonk is known for. You will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to test case preparation, test data setup, and test execution. Experience in Agile methodologies, including scrum, sprint, and backlog planning, will be highly valued in this role.
As a lead tester, you will be tasked with managing a small to mid-sized team, providing mentorship to junior team members, and coordinating with developers to ensure seamless collaboration. Your ability to handle test planning, execution, defect management, status reporting, and test report writing will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects.

To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills and have a proven track record of team leading and management. Hands-on experience in various types of black box testing, such as smoke, sanity, integration, regression, and UAT, will be necessary. Any testing-related certification will be considered an added advantage, along with expertise in API testing, database testing, and automation testing.
