Reports To: IT Manager / Lead IT / System Administrator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to end-users, ensure smooth IT operations, and support hardware, software, and network systems. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot issues, provide solutions, and contribute to ongoing IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications (Windows/macOS/Linux).
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls using Active Directory / Azure AD / Microsoft 365.
- Respond to tickets raised by users within defined SLAs.
- Set up new systems for onboarding employees, including hardware, software, and user accounts.
- Handle routine maintenance tasks such as patching, updates, backups, and antivirus scans.
- Support video conferencing systems, VoIP phones, and email clients.
- Assist in network configuration (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, routers, switches).
- Document issues, solutions, and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty support and procurement of IT assets.
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide remote support using tools like AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or Microsoft Remote Desktop.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and update asset management tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or similar role.
- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows/macOS operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with networking basics TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, etc.)
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
- Experience in supporting cloud-based platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Workspace).
- Exposure to cybersecurity basics and endpoint protection tools.
Work Conditions
- Full-time
- May require occasional travel to other office locations.
- Available for on-call support if required.
