Technology Program Manager

The Technology Program Manager will play a pivotal role in governing and coordinating a complex technology transformation program. With a focus on Wealth Management, NBFC/Lending, Broking, and Depository Participant operations, the successful candidate will ensure effective delivery, risk management, and leadership visibility. They will act as a central point of contact, collaborating with various stakeholders, including Wealth Management leadership, technology teams, and implementation partners. The role demands strong expertise in program management, governance, and stakeholder management, with a proven track record in enterprise-scale delivery within the financial services sector.
Responsibilities

• Own and manage the integrated technology program plan, coordinating across multiple business and technology workstreams.
• Ensure effective delivery and governance through Steering Committees, PMO reviews, project status meetings, and executive governance forums.
• Track milestones, dependencies, and critical path items, maintaining overall program health and visibility.
• Build and maintain RAID registers, ensuring timely mitigation, ownership, and closure of issues and risks.
• Coordinate with diverse stakeholders, including business, technology, and external partners, to facilitate seamless execution.
• Prepare executive-level dashboards, program status reports, and governance presentations for senior leadership.
• Monitor program budgets, resource allocation, and delivery commitments, ensuring efficient utilization and timely completion.
• Drive issue resolution and remove delivery blockers, facilitating timely decision-making to keep the program on track.

• Ensure delivery quality, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness across all workstreams.
• Foster a collaborative environment, leveraging strong communication, leadership, and facilitation skills.
  

Qualifications

• 15-18 years of experience in technology project or program management, with a proven track record of enterprise-scale delivery.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex transformation programs within Banking, Wealth Management, Capital Markets, or Financial Services.
• Strong proficiency in program planning, PMO governance, stakeholder management, and executive reporting.
• Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects, cross-functional teams, and third-party implementation partners.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and facilitation skills, with the ability to present to executives.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies, and the ability to adapt to different environments.
• Experience in Wealth Management platforms, Capital Markets, Broking technology, NBFC/Lending platforms, and Depository Participant operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with Indias regulatory landscape, including SEBI, RBI, NSDL/CDSL, and exchange/depository-related technology delivery and compliance.
• Understanding of CRM, digital platforms, relationship manager enablement tools, core financial systems, and back-office processing platforms.
• Knowledge of API-led integration, ecosystem connectivity, and enterprise architecture principles, as well as data migration and cutover planning.
