• Responsibilities for Internal Candidates In this role, you will:
• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

using services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of GCP resources.
• Establish and enforce software engineering best practices, including modular code design, comprehensive testing, code reviews, version control (Git), and documentation standards.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and release management of cloud infrastructure and data applications.
• Develop and integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for cloud services and data pipelines to ensure high availability, performance, and proactive issue detection.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, data analysts, and product development teams to understand data requirements, provide technical guidance, and translate analytical needs into scalable engineering solutions.
• Lead efforts in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, application performance, and security.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of our cloud architecture and data platform, evaluating new technologies and recommending best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers, foster a cultureof technical excellence, and promote knowledge sharing within the team. Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to Fords security, governance, and data privacy standards.
