Islamic Finance Compliance Officer

What role you will play in team: Ensuring adherence to Islamic finance principles and regulations within ADIB's operations in India. You'll be a key member of our compliance team, monitoring transactions and policies for Sharia compliance.

What you will do: Review and analyze financial transactions to ensure they comply with Islamic banking principles. Work closely with product development teams to ensure new products meet Sharia requirements.

Key responsibility:

• Reviewing and analyzing financial transactions for Sharia compliance.
• Developing and implementing Sharia compliance policies and procedures.
• Conducting Sharia audits and reviews.
• Providing training and guidance to staff on Sharia compliance matters.
• Liaising with Sharia scholars and regulatory authorities.
  
• Staying abreast of developments in Islamic finance regulations.
• Preparing reports on Sharia compliance activities.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Islamic finance, law, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Islamic finance compliance.
• Strong understanding of Islamic banking principles and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (preferred).
