Client Ops Support Representative

Job Roles & Responsibilities :

Location: Coimbatore

Work Time: General Shift

Working Days: 5 (Monday to Friday)

Responsibilities

- Monitor and manage data ingestion and ETL pipelines, ensuring high availability, data integrity, and minimal downtime.

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries and ETL jobs across large, complex datasets.

- Operate and maintain cloud environments (OCI, GCP, AWS, Azure), escalating and resolving issues per established procedures.

- Transform, validate, and process data from diverse sources and formats (XML, CSV, JSON).

- Use generative AI tools and automation frameworks to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

- Execute, maintain, and refine operational runbooks while contributing to process improvements and documentation.

- Act as the first line of support for operational incidents, coordinating with Engineering and Product for rapid resolution.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and implement best practices.

- Document incidents, resolutions, and improvements using tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Qualifications

- 3-4 years of relevant experience.

- Strong SQL expertise with hands-on experience in database systems such as Vertica, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, or similar.

- Proficiency in Shell and/or Python scripting for automation, troubleshooting, and operational tooling.

- Experience working with cloud platforms (OCI, GCP, AWS, or Azure).

- Solid understanding of version control (Git) and modern CI/CD workflows.

- Strong data transformation and validation skills with ability to process XML, CSV, JSON, and other data formats.

- Knowledge of database administration concepts, including backup/restore, log shipping, mirroring, and performance tuning.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to document findings and collaborate effectively across teams.

- Proven track record of driving automation, process improvements, and operational efficiency.

- Experience supporting production systems and participating in on-call rotations is a plus.

- Client-focused, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments.

- Experience supporting customers in US time zones.
