Business Analyst

Description:

- Requirements Management: Gathering, analyzing, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
- Process Improvement: Analyzing existing workflows to identify bottlenecks and recommending process optimizations.
- Data Analysis: Interpreting data sets to uncover trends and actionable insights.
- Stakeholder Management: Acting as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment.
- Project Documentation: Creating user stories, process maps, and business requirement documents (BRDs).
- Data Visualization: Creating compelling, interactive dashboards in Power BI to present key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
- Data Manipulation: Using Power Query to connect, shape, and transform data from various sources.
- DAX & Data Modeling: Building data models and using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for complex calculations.
- Reporting: Regularly maintaining and updating BI reports to track business performance.
- Financial Modeling: Creating models to assess the cost and efficiency of business operations.
- Variance Analysis: Monitoring actual performance against forecasted budgets.
- Cost-Benefit Analysis: Evaluating potential solutions based on feasibility, cost, and business value.
- Forecasting: Projecting future financial performance to assist in strategic planning.
Technical Skills:

- SQL (for data extraction), Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), and Power BI or Tableau.
Methodologies:

- Agile, Scrum, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Soft Skills:

- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and adaptability.
Certifications:

- IIBA (CBAP/CCBA), Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, and Project Management certifications are highly valued.
Education & Experience:

Education:

- A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
