Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kanpur for the role of Senior Sales Manager. The Senior Sales Manager will oversee and drive the sales strategy for a designated region, mentor and manage the sales team, and ensure targets are achieved effectively. Responsibilities include planning and executing sales initiatives, building and nurturing relationships with clients, agents, and business partners, analyzing market trends to identify opportunities, and reporting on sales performance and team progress. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet customer and organizational goals.
Qualifications

  • Sales and Business Development: Expertise in sales planning, lead generation, customer acquisitions, and achieving sales targets.
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Strong skills in managing, training, and guiding sales teams to achieve peak performance.

  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships with clients, agents, and business partners.
  • Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Proficiency in analyzing market trends, sales data, and developing strategies to grow the business.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Strong verbal, written, and negotiation skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Additional Qualifications: Bachelors degree (MBA preferred) in a relevant field and prior experience in insurance or related industries is highly beneficial.
